Music, hammers, and dirt

Den meetings are always interesting. You never know what the dens will be up to. This past week, Pack 88 dens showed off their musical skills, planted terrariums, and hammered together tool boxes. All at the same time. We apologize to anyone who had a headache before the meeting started.

Sky’s the Limit

The sky was the limit as Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts reached for the stars at Lycoming College’s Detwiler Planetarium recently. Cub Scout Pack 88, of Montoursville, and the Girl Scout Service Unit 624, of the greater Williamsport area, both attended an educational and entertaining event, Sky is the Limit Adventure, organized by the new Detwiler Planetarium director, Lauren Balliet.

Wreaths Across America

Today Cub Scout Pack 88 joined along with thousands of volunteers across the country for Wreaths Across America’s National Wreath Laying Day! Thank you to all who helped sponsor a wreath for Fort Indiantown Gap thru our fundraiser. Today we saw the fruits of our labors as we helped in the placement of over 41,000 wreaths!
